During the past few decades there has been a marked improvement in the techniques to store apples better and longer. With the latest storage technique, even better storage of apples is possible. This was shown in mid-July by researcher Felix Büchele during the open days of the Kompetenzzentrum Obstbau Bodensee (KOB) in Bavendorf (Germany).
