New training system needs tailored planting material

Narrow training systems with trees with two or more central leaders offer various advantages for the fruit grower. The ‘ideal’ tree for this training system has already been prepared at the tree nursery for the future training system and is supplied to the fruit grower with two (or more) central leaders. However, as yet, there are not many fruit tree nurseries in Europe that make this type of tree.
