Good results with Wurtwinning/Bloss with the right cultivation measures

There seldom has been as much discussion around a new apple variety as around the Wurtwinning/Bloss® variety. It is one of the best-flavoured varieties there is. However, the variety is not easy to grow. This is the reason why, growers in some European growing areas are reluctant to plant Wurtwinning. Other growers however, show that it is by all means possible to realise very good top-quality productions with this variety. 

Several Dutch fruit growers have demonstrated that, with the right cultivation measures, Wurtwinning/Bloss can be grown successfully. Read how they do this in the article in the December issue of EFM
